OXIMERAM 1000

Description

OXIMERAM 1000 is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic containing Meropenem 1000 mg, a potent carbapenem antibiotic used for the treatment of severe and life-threatening bacterial infections. It acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis through binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), resulting in rapid bactericidal action. Meropenem is highly stable against most β-lactamases, providing effective coverage against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria.

OXIMERAM 1000 is indicated for severe infections of the skin, lungs, stomach (intra-abdominal), urinary tract, blood (septicemia), and brain including meningitis, as well as complicated and resistant bacterial infections.
