Description

SENTRAL 50 Tablets contain Sertraline 50 mg, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used in the management of depressive and anxiety-related disorders. Sertraline exerts its action by selectively inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) at the presynaptic neuronal membrane, resulting in increased levels of serotonin in the synaptic cleft. This enhanced serotonergic neurotransmission helps regulate mood, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional stability.

SENTRAL 50 is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The formulation offers effective symptom relief with good tolerability, supporting overall mental well-being and improving quality of life when used as directed by a physician.
