Description

OOZ-5 contains Olanzapine 5 mg, an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia and the management of acute manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, as well as maintenance therapy in bipolar disorder. It also helps control agitation and behavioral disturbances associated with psychotic conditions, improving emotional stability, thought processes, and overall functional outcomes.

Olanzapine works by antagonizing dopamine (D₂) and serotonin (5-HT₂A) receptors in the brain, helping restore neurotransmitter balance responsible for mood, perception, and behavior. This dual mechanism effectively reduces psychotic symptoms, stabilizes mood, and provides calming effects, making OOZ-5 a reliable option for long-term psychiatric management with improved patient tolerability.
