TRITIX Shampoo is a medicated veterinary formulation designed for the effective management of fungal and associated skin infections in animals. It contains Ketoconazole 2% w/v, a potent antifungal agent that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, leading to disruption of cell integrity and elimination of pathogens such as dermatophytes and Malassezia. The formulation is complemented by Cetrimide 0.5% w/v, a quaternary ammonium antiseptic that disrupts microbial cell membranes, providing broad-spectrum antibacterial action while aiding in thorough cleansing of the skin and coat.

This dual-action shampoo is indicated for the treatment of dermatophytosis, yeast infections, and seborrheic dermatitis, while also serving as an adjunct in bacterial skin infections. It helps relieve itching, irritation, and inflammation associated with infections, removes dirt, excess oil, and debris, and supports overall skin hygiene.
