It combines Febantel and Pyrantel Embonate, providing a dual mechanism of action for enhanced efficacy. Febantel acts as a prodrug that is converted into active benzimidazole metabolites, which inhibit microtubule formation in parasites, thereby disrupting glucose uptake and energy metabolism. Pyrantel Embonate, on the other hand, functions as a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent, causing spastic paralysis of worms and facilitating their expulsion from the gastrointestinal tract.
