Azicel-500 is a prescription antibiotic from CECEL, a division of Zee Laboratories Ltd. Each film-coated tablet contains Azithromycin Dihydrate I.P., equivalent to 500 mg of anhydrous Azithromycin. Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that physicians commonly prescribe for a range of bacterial infections.
