ZYNACLOX 4000

Description

ZYNACLOX 4000 is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic formulation for veterinary use, containing Amoxycillin Sodium I.P. and Cloxacillin Sodium I.P., each equivalent to 2 gm.

Amoxycillin Sodium is a broad-spectrum β-lactam antibiotic that acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to weakening of the bacterial cell wall and subsequent bacterial cell death. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and selected Gram-negative bacteria. Cloxacillin Sodium is a penicillinase-resistant β-lactam antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis and is particularly effective against β-lactamase producing bacteria.

The combination provides synergistic and extended-spectrum antibacterial activity, offering effective coverage against both penicillin-sensitive and penicillin-resistant (β-lactamase producing) bacteria, ensuring rapid and reliable bactericidal action.
