Description

ZECEF-I.U. is a veterinary antibiotic intrauterine formulation containing Cephalexin I.P., a first-generation cephalosporin with potent bactericidal activity against a broad range of Gram-positive and selected Gram-negative bacteria. It is specifically designed for intrauterine administration in cattle and large animals to effectively manage uterine infections.

The product is a sterile dry powder that, when reconstituted with the provided sterile water for injection, forms a single-dose suspension ready for intrauterine infusion. The formulation delivers a high local concentration of cephalexin directly at the site of infection in the uterus, promoting rapid resolution of bacterial contamination and inflammation.

• Treatment of endometritis in cattle
• Management of metritis, especially post-partum metritis
• Treatment of cervicitis caused by susceptible bacteria
