VIDIN-PET Ointment

Description

VIDIN-PET Ointment is a broad-spectrum veterinary antiseptic formulation containing Povidone Iodine 5% w/w, designed for effective management of wounds and skin infections in animals. It works by the slow and sustained release of free iodine, which penetrates microbial cells and oxidizes essential proteins, enzymes, and structural components, leading to rapid destruction of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other pathogens. The ointment base ensures prolonged contact time at the site of application, enhancing antimicrobial efficacy while minimizing irritation.

VIDIN-PET Ointment is effective in the treatment of bacterial and fungal skin infections, and for the disinfection of burns, ulcers, and abscesses. Additionally, it is suitable for pre-operative skin preparation, antiseptic dressing, and the management of superficial dermatological conditions and lesions, promoting faster healing and improved skin hygiene in animals.
