Description

MEFZE Injection is a veterinary antispasmodic formulation containing Dicyclomine Hydrochloride 10 mg/ml, developed for the effective management of gastrointestinal spasms and colic pain in animals. It provides rapid relief from abdominal discomfort associated with intestinal hypermotility and digestive disturbances.

Dicyclomine Hydrochloride acts through a dual mechanism by exhibiting anticholinergic and direct smooth muscle relaxant activity. It blocks muscarinic receptors and inhibits the action of acetylcholine on gastrointestinal smooth muscles, thereby reducing involuntary contractions, intestinal spasms, and excessive gut motility. This action helps relieve pain, relax intestinal muscles, and restore normal digestive function.

MEFZE Injection is indicated for use in animals for the supportive treatment of intestinal colic, spastic enteritis, and functional gastrointestinal disorders. By reducing spasms and improving gut comfort, it promotes faster recovery and enhances animal wellbeing.
