DOXLINE 100 is a sterile injectable formulation of Doxycycline 100 mg, developed for the effective management of moderate to severe bacterial infections. It is particularly useful in hospitalized patients or in situations where oral therapy is not feasible, ensuring rapid and reliable systemic action. Doxycycline exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing the addition of amino acids to the growing peptide chain. This bacteriostatic action helps control the growth and spread of susceptible microorganisms.
