Description

CIPZY-TZ Intrauterine Solution is a broad-spectrum veterinary antimicrobial formulation containing Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride and Tinidazole, specially designed for intrauterine administration in animals for the management of uterine infections. The combination provides synergistic activity against aerobic, anaerobic, and protozoal pathogens commonly associated with reproductive tract infections.

Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing DNA replication, transcription, and repair, leading to rapid bacterial cell death. Tinidazole, a nitroimidazole antimicrobial, undergoes intracellular activation in anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, causing DNA strand breakage and inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis, ultimately resulting in microbial cell death.

CIPZY-TZ Intrauterine Solution ensures targeted local antimicrobial action within the uterus, helping reduce microbial load, control inflammation, and promote faster uterine recovery and fertility restoration in veterinary animals affected by postpartum and breeding-related infections.
