ALTEC-1500 BOLUS

Description

ALTEC‑1500 BOLUS is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic bolus formulated for veterinary use in livestock and ruminant animals. Each bolus contains Albendazole I.P. 1500 mg as the active ingredient in a suitable excipient base, designed to be administered orally for effective endoparasite control.

Albendazole is a benzimidazole class anthelmintic, exhibits potent activity against a wide variety of helminths affecting animals. Its unique mechanism of action disrupts parasite energy metabolism by inhibiting β-tubulin polymerization, resulting in depletion of energy stores and death of the parasites.

The bolus form ensures convenient dosing in large animals, with high-dose delivery appropriate for adult animals, supporting improved feed utilization, nutrient absorption, and overall health by relieving parasitic burden.
