Product Description
TRIDIP is a fixed-dose combination of Trihexyphenidyl Hydrochloride 2 mg and Trifluoperazine 5 mg, formulated for the effective management of psychotic disorders. Trifluoperazine, a typical antipsychotic, acts by blocking dopamine Dâ‚‚ receptors in the brain, particularly in the mesolimbic pathway, thereby reducing dopaminergic overactivity responsible for symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking in schizophrenia. Trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic agent, inhibits central muscarinic receptors and helps restore the balance between dopamine and acetylcholine in the basal ganglia.

nThis combination is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia and for the short-term control of anxiety and agitation.
