Description

SCALIO Shampoo is a medicated veterinary formulation containing Permethrin 1% w/v, designed for effective control of ectoparasites in pets. Permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, acts by interfering with voltage-gated sodium channels in the nerve cells of parasites, leading to prolonged depolarization, hyperexcitation, paralysis, and eventual death. This targeted neurotoxic action ensures rapid elimination of fleas, ticks, lice, and mites, while also exhibiting ovicidal activity to help break the parasite life cycle and reduce reinfestation.

In addition to its potent antiparasitic effect, SCALIO Shampoo provides thorough cleansing of the coat by removing dirt, debris, and dead parasites. It helps soothe irritated skin, relieve itching (pruritus), and supports the management of parasite-associated dermatological conditions.
